As the influx of refugees fleeing the violence in Myanmar continues, World Vision is providing life-saving aid to the families at Burmapara, Hakimpara, and Jamtolirefugee camps in Bangladesh.

Most of these refugees arrived on foot, walking for several days through forest, mountains, and braved the rough seas to save their families and loved ones.

Relief distribution and coordination with the government and aid agencies continue for efficient delivery. The initial response aims to reach 15,250 refugees or 3,020 families to receive food packs.

While the distribution is on-going, the team looks into the further needs of the refugees especially the children, elders, pregnant women, lactating mothers and the most vulnerable.
