Nino Pilievi, a mother of three, lives in the Karaleti Settlement. She is a pharmacist but before the trainings she did not have the chance to think about her career. After learning about the opportunity to receiving the small grant, she began searching for ways to open a pharmacy in her settlement. She rented a room right next to the local ambulatory and got a license to open the pharmacy. The project helped her purchase the necessary medicine. Today, she has the only pharmacy in the area, serving four settlements. Nino is grateful for the opportunity to use her profession while also improving the financial situation of her family.

“This pharmacy is big support, not only for my family but also for inhabitants of surrounding four settlements. Before, even in emergency cases, they had to go to Gori ( the nearest city) for medicine. Now, they come to our pharmacy and buy the necessary medicine here,” said Nino.
