With the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs in Georgia and the Georgian Youth Ambassador to the United Nations, World Vision organized a “School-Based Youth Clubs Forum for the Promotion of Volunteering.” The event took place between December 5 and 7, at the International Scout Centre of Rustavi.

During the event, 90 young people, from World Vision’s programmes in Georgia, presented their school-based youth club activities, exchanged their ideas for future projects, received information about successful international experiences and designed specific plans for increasing the youth participation in civic activities in their communities.

I’m happy and proud to support my community through volunteering,” says Giorgi. “I believe that youth involved in volunteer work is the key to the community development.”
