My first journey to the US: World Vision Kenya sponsored child experience in a foreign country.

Wednesday, November 9, 2016

World Vision Kenya Northern Regional Manager Catherine Timbomei, a chaperone to 9-year-old Jepkorir, a sponsored child from World Vision Kenya Bartabwa Area Development Program, shared their experience with World Vision Kenya staff on the first visit to World Vision support office in the US.

The main purpose for Catherine’s visit was to accelerate recruitment for new child sponsors to World Vision, Kenya. She was speaking to staff during Chapel service held on 7th November 2016 at World Vision Karen Offices Nairobi, Kenya.

World Vision is committed to partnering with the people of Kenya to improve their lives today and to help enact sustainable solutions for the future of their children, families, and communities. World Vision’s child sponsorship program plays a vital role in this partnership, with donors from the United States sponsoring more than 42,000 girls and boys. In addition to sponsorship, World Vision operates other programs that benefit communities in Kenya.
