Ebola may be gone, but its visible relics are still hanging there and felt in Sierra Leone. The country is coping with the painful reality of shattered hopes and dreams caused by the virus. But her people are bold, strong, resilient and brave. The wounds and hurts will heal, but it will take time. But certain immediate needs are being met. A classical example is the food assistance that the  Emergency Food Security Programme (EFSP) funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by World Vision in the Port Loko District of  Sierra Leone  is providing to thousands of people (including children).
