Community Resilience & Disaster Risk Reduction in Solomon Islands

Friday, October 17, 2014

'Creating Resilient Communities' looks at World Vision's work with vulnerable communities in the Solomon Islands. Communities who are exposed to hazards such as cyclones, earthquakes and tsunamis, floods and the threat of a changing climate, work with World Vision to prepare themselves, mitigating their risks, and reducing the impact on their lives.

Children and their families in Makira province are part of a Australian Government/DFAT funded project working to create resilient communities.
