Iraq's displaced children: faces of hope

Some shared their dreams – often with a shy smile. Some were nameless playing and wandering around camps and buildings for internally displaced people. Most live in deplorable dwellings unfit for children. But, children will be children and no amount of difficulty and misery can dampen the hope on their faces and the joy in their hearts. They are Iraq’s future – and it is heartwarming to see them play with abandon despite their squalid surroundings.
