World Vision recognised at the 2021 HR Focus Awards in Ghana
It was a great pleasure that, in addition to winning the “Best HR Management in the NGO Sector” award for the second time running at this year’s awards, the office also won the “Most Outstanding Non-Profit Organization Response to COVID-19” award. Price Shocks: Economic gains masking a growing hunger and malnutrition crisis
World Vision's annual price survey analyses global food prices over the past three years. This Price Shocks report is a continuation of our 2021 and 2022 studies with findings showing a slight dip in the highest costs of living for some while others remain at previously marked crisis levels. This year's findings continue to underscore the uneven recovery from the socioeconomic shocks from COVID-19, inflation, and extreme weather and indicates a disparity of food prices, both in the current cost of the basket of 10 common food items and in the year-on-year comparisons. We provide insight into the year-on-year changes and share recommendations on mitigation for various audiences.

The aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of different winterization methods in terms of minimizing cold during the winter season, determining the cost of each technique and comparing the environmental impact.
The results of this study visualize the climate and cost benefits when expanding the utilization of olive pomace, wood, fuel and gas, as a heating source for vulnerable families exposed to cold winters.
