World Vision, the Government of Mozambique and partner humanitarian organizations are committed to improve the learning conditions of 85,000 school-aged children in the districts of Monapo and Meconta, in Nampula province, and Milange district, Zambézia province, in central and northern regions.

Partnering for Food Systems Transformation: School Meals in Burundi
Since 2019, World Vision and the World Food Programme WFP have been working with the government of Burundi to provide Home-Grown School Meals in Muyinga Province of Burundi. This has required significant investment in increasing the resilience and production of smallholder farmer co-operatives to ensure sustainable supply to 145 schools and nearly 132,000 students with daily hot meals. Gradually, the programme is working towards being fully supplied by local farmers.

World Vision has a vast reach in Zambia, with long-term development projects called Area Programmes and short-term grant-funded projects spread across the country nationwide. World Vision Zambia implements development projects in the following key areas: health and nutrition; livelihoods and resilience; education; child protection; disaster management; and water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH).

World Vision trains local partners and staff on cash and voucher programming in Moldova
World Vision conducted a 5-day training for humanitarian workers on Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) in Chisinau, Moldova, bringing together 30 participants, including World Vision staff from Moldova, Georgia, and Romania and representatives from partners We World, HelpAge, Keystone, Communitas, Ave Copiii, and Food Bank.
