Responding to Food Insecurity in Ethiopia - February 2018

More than 7 million people do not have enough to eat, due to a lack of rain, conflict and other causes in Ethiopia. 

World Vision is responding. In February 2018, the humanitarian response team provided:

  • 176,000 people with food assistance
  • 21,000 people with food security and livelihood support
  • 900 people with nutrition and health services
  • 7,000 people with education and protection assistance
  • 500 people with clean water, hygiene and sanitation
