Responding to Kenya's Hunger Crisis - February 2018

A lack of rain has led to crops failing over the course of the last year, causing a hunger crisis in parts of Kenya. As many as 2.5 million people do not have enough to eat. 

World Vision is responding. In February 2018, the humanitarian response team provided:

• 229,000 people with food security and livelihood support
• 149,000 people with nutrition and health services
• 23,000 people with education and protection assistance
• 140,000 people with clean water, hygiene and sanitation
• 2,400 people with shelter materials and other non-food items
