Responding to South Sudan's Hunger Crisis - February 2018

More than 7 million people in South Sudan do not have enough to eat, due to conflict, inflation and other causes. 

World Vision is responding. In February 2018, the humanitarian response team provided:

  • 165,000 people with food security and livelihood support
  • 117,000 people with nutrition and health services
  • 42,000 people with education and protection assistance
  • 119,000 people with clean water, hygiene and sanitation
  • 4,800 people with non-food items
