51st session of the Human Rights Council Enhanced - ID on the human rights situation of women and girls in Afghanistan

On 12-13  September 2022 , Asuntha Charles, National Director of World Vision Afghanistan, presented at  the Human Rights Council  a warning of the rapidly deteriorating situation facing women and girls in Afghanistan, with 3.2 million children at risk of acute malnutrition in 2022, including over one million children projected to suffer from severe acute malnutrition. The statement is an urgent call to action on behalf of World Vision and Save the Children.
