SitRep #1 - Central African Republic (CAR) Response to the Sudan Crisis & Migration Emergency Response

According to the OCHA report, more than five million people in Ukraine are internally displaced and had to find a new home inside Ukraine.

World Vision implements programmes on Education in Emergencies, Child Protection, Early Childhood Development and Child and youth resilience and life skills in the occupied Palestinian Territory where we have worked for the last 47 years.

This is the 10th situation report and the first annual report released by the Global Hunger Response (GHR) detailing key concerns, impact (as of March 2023) for GHR's 28 countries of highest alert, and recounting lessons learnt and how these will shape the next year of the Response.

During the past year, through providing support in food, water, health care, and education sectors, we were able to reach 1,566,577 children through our 22 long term area programs and grant funded projects. This report covers our work and impact from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022. Our appreciation goes to all who contributed in one way or another to make us reach children and communities who were in need.

The participating local organizations can now optimize their decision-making processes, negotiate favorable contracts, and distribute funds more effectively. They are also hoped to learn from World Vision’s accountability measures as good organizational practice.
