How Facilitating Engagements With Adolescent Girls and Young Women Positively Impacted Bongimpilo's Own Life
Bongimpilo, of Mantambe Area Programme, has been part of the “Halting The Spread Of HIV Amongst The Swazi Society” Project, which aims to transform the lives of young girls and women in underprivileged communities, since 2022. As Bongimpilo continued to work on the project, she found solace in knowing that she wasn't alone in her journey. She connected with other team members who shared similar experiences, forming a support network that helped her navigate her own challenges. Together, they shared stories, offered encouragement, and provided a safe space for vulnerability.

Prosperity Through Sustainable Climate Smart and Inclusive Cocoa Family Farming
Luis, a dedicated individual in Papua New Guinea, reflects on his second year with the Gigaso Cooperative, managing a successful cacao nursery. His efforts yield 20,000 rootstocks, promising economic impact by providing 300 seedlings to each farmer. In its third year, the project aims to enhance farmers' skills, improve cocoa block management, and foster financial independence. The aftermath of 2022's historic price peaks leave an indelible mark, as food prices defy expectations of post-pandemic economic recovery. However, the resulting inflation doesn't emerge alone; it came about amidst a series of crises, amongst them: crushing debt and currency fluctuations, entrenched conflicts, violence and insecurity exacerbated by by climate-induced stressors and extreme weather events.
