Ukrainian farmer promotes healthy food and lifestyle through her flourishing green business
Renata is one of 280 Ukrainians who have received assistance in starting or expanding their businesses. She became interested in farming during her maternity leave. The family created a 30-meter foil tent using their own resources and a minor loan from friends. Unfortunately, with the onset of the war, they had a staff shortage, leaving Renata, her husband and their three children without their primary source of income. Recently, they reopened their small business, Dorcas helping them in purchasing a greenhouse to expand their crop production.

Displaced mother finds joy serving through the cash program in the war-torn regions of Ukraine
Khrystyna rebuilds her life after fleeing her war-torn town in Luhansk Oblast, dedicating herself to humanitarian work. She helps internally displaced people (IDPs) register for a cash program in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, funded by USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), in partnership with Acted Ukraine and the Ukraine Response Consortium. The program is run by Responsible Citizens, World Vision's local partner.

Shine's daily life involves conducting field visits, primarily focused on screening the nutrition status of children under 5 in the community. This screening includes measuring their weight, height, and MUAC (mid-upper arm circumference).
