World Vision Afghanistan Annual Report: FY22
This Annual Report provides the impact of WV Afghanistan between October 2021 and September 2022.
During this period:
• 1,369,562 people, including 669,694 children, were reached;
• Over 90% decrease in the number of food insecure families adopting negative coping strategies, including sending their children to work, in our targeted areas;
• Access to clean drinking water increased from 24.5% to 59% for targeted households;
• More than 80% of children with acute malnutrition in our targeted areas became well-nourished;
• Girls' registration in Community-Based Education (CBE) classes increased from 5,833 to over 11,162; and
• 13 child early forced marriage cases were resolved by the trained faith leaders.

Cash For Education in Akkar
This research aims to explore the effects of cash assistance on the ability of girls and boys in Akkar, Lebanon, to access and stay in education. It delves into the complex crisis in Lebanon, which involves economic decline, disruptions in education, and adverse impacts on vulnerable groups like girls and boys with disabilities, refugees, and the most impoverished families. The study endeavors to comprehend how initiatives like the cash-for-education program can play a role in maintaining educational continuity and promoting the welfare of teachers amid the ongoing crisis in Lebanon.

Ukrainian refugees grateful of people’s generosity keeping them hopeful and alive
Olena is one of the 4,700 Ukrainian being assisted by Private Non-Sponsorship (PNS) Project of World Vision Singapore. Families received bedsheet, hygiene kits, clothes for those with babies, pillow, mattress, pillowcases, first aid kit, USB power hub, and power bank.
