Consolidation and Strengthening of Disaster Risk Reduction Project
World Vision International Lesotho, through European Union Humanitarian Aid,
recognizes the pressing need for disaster preparedness and resilience-building efforts in Lesotho,
particularly in rural areas that are highly vulnerable to climate change-related challenges. The Strengthening and consolidating national and community capacities for effective disaster preparedness and response in Lesotho is addressing these issues and fostering community-level resilience.

Immediate collective action is necessary to ensure that children affected by migration are recognised and prioritised
Migration is not a new issue, but the devastating consequences on children are becoming more evident and can no longer be ignored. As adults migrate in search of employment, an increasing number of children are left behind, suffering consequences to their education, well-being and mental health.

Sanitation and hygiene -- a matter of urgency in Malakal, Upper Nile
World Vision partnered with the Malakal City Mayor’s office and launched a city-wide hygiene promotion campaign to raise awareness about good hygiene practices, disease prevention, and behaviour improvement in Malakal City in Upper Nile State.

Reviving Lives through Soil and Water Conservation
In 2023, SPIR II facilitated the rehabilitation of 5,448 hectares of communal land by engaging over 416,000 PSNP Public Workers in the Amhara and Oromia regions of Ethiopia.
