DR Congo: Let's encourage and promote breastfeeding for professional women within World Vision and within communities.
This article is written as part of World Breastfeeding Week, whose theme for the year is: "Acting in favour of working parents". This article shows how World Vision succeeds in setting up projects that benefit both professional women in the beneficiary communities and women who are its own agents. Breastfeeding is one of the key elements on which many projects base their awareness-raising. Many projects encourage and promote breastfeeding in the workplace. This is done to ensure the well-being of the child and the breastfeeding woman who works.

World Vision New Avenues - Cash Roadmap 2.0 (FY24-27)
World Vision has facilitated the use of cash and voucher modalities for over 20 years, initially focusing on humanitarian disaster management, emergency response and recovery contexts. Since the Grand Bargain/World Humanitarian Summit 2016 commitments by key stakeholders, including World Vision, a rapid and steady increase of Cash Voucher Programming Modalities (CVP) has enabled vulnerable children, their families and community members to meet their basic needs.

Cet article est rédigé dans le cadre de la semaine mondiale de l'allaitement maternel dont le thème de l'année est : "Agir en faveur des parents qui travaillent". Cet article montre comment World Vision parvient à mettre en place des projets qui profitent autant aux femmes professionnelles des communautés bénéficiaires et des femmes qui sont ses propres agents. L'allaitement maternel est l'un des éléments phares sur lesquels un bon nombre de projets basent leur sensibilisation. De nombreux projets encouragent et promeuvent l'allaitement maternel en milieu de travail. Ceci est fait pour assurer le bien-être de l'enfant et la femme allaitante qui travaille.
