World Vision Zambia implements development projects in the following key areas: health and nutrition; livelihoods and resilience; education; child protection; disaster management; and water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH).

Sololo's historic moment: Clean water flows for the first time, courtesy of World Vision
Residents from Sololo community in Marsabit County are elated after receiving access to clean water for the first time, after World Vision and her partners delivered two water projects bringing to an end an acute water shortage spanning for decades in the area.
The investment is set to impact over 12,000 people and bring transformative change in the area.

It’s part of World Vision’s effort to ensure Afghan girls and boys enjoy this fundamental right. This effort contributes toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal #6: to ‘Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030.’
