Technical Analysis of Birth Registration in Rwanda

World Vision Rwanda (WV Rwanda), as a child-focused international NGO, is working to support the protection of children from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and other forms of violence. It is in this regard that WV Rwanda has been engaging different stakeholders to promote birth registration. Birth registration is a key enabler of child wellbeing.

WV Rwanda linked with the services of the Institute of Policy Analysis and Research of Rwanda (IPAR) to conduct an extensive child birth registration technical study analysis to know the underlying causes of low birth registration in Rwanda. The study was conducted based on evidence relating to poor birth registration rates in WV Rwanda Area Programmes.
