New research to analyize the economic beneift of Official Development Assistance (ODA) programming that directly or indirectly targets children found that every $1USD of child-related ODA directly or indirectly results in a $10USD return and highlights that investing in children is a way to maximise the benefit that donors see from their ODA programmes.

The value of clean water for Afghan children
In Afghanistan, 30 out of 34 provinces reported extremely low water quality. And the number of households impacted by the drought in 2022 is six times greater than in 2020 since the country enters its third consecutive drought year.
Through its WASH interventions, Word Vision Afghanistan is providing access to clean water to the most vulnerable children, their families and their communities. Over 207,911 people, including 122,874 children, accessed clean drinking water and received hygiene promotion services in World Vision targeted areas between October 2021 to September 2022 (FY22).

World Vision Zambia hands over Mechanized Water System and Ablution Block Project to the Zambian Government in Mwinilunga
Mr. Hasse said world vision is happy to collaborate with government and traditional leaders to create an environment where a child can participate in education activities regardless of gender and socioeconomic status.
And speaking at the same event, Mwinilunga District Commissioner, Harrison Kamuna, thanked World Vision for the work done in the district for the past 13 years.
