DR Congo: World Vision responds to the growing needs of IDPs exacerbated by the humanitarian crisis in Eastern
This video is a compilation of testimonies from internally displaced people in the Kashaka camp in eastern DRC. These internally displaced people (IDPs) talk about their lives since they left their villages to flee the war, the difficulties they have encountered and how they are facing new difficulties in the camps where they live. Life has become very difficult and humanitarian aid is unable to meet their needs, which have increased as a result of the escalating violence. World Vision continues to respond with the support of partners, but at the same time is calling for more resources.

How Facilitating Engagements With Adolescent Girls and Young Women Positively Impacted Bongimpilo's Own Life
Bongimpilo, of Mantambe Area Programme, has been part of the “Halting The Spread Of HIV Amongst The Swazi Society” Project, which aims to transform the lives of young girls and women in underprivileged communities, since 2022. As Bongimpilo continued to work on the project, she found solace in knowing that she wasn't alone in her journey. She connected with other team members who shared similar experiences, forming a support network that helped her navigate her own challenges. Together, they shared stories, offered encouragement, and provided a safe space for vulnerability.

Empowered Aid Lebanon: Summary Report
In May 2022, World Vision Lebanon (WVL) distributed 2,762 disinfection kits to a targeted group of Syrian refugees residing in informal tented settlements (ITS) in Bekaa Governorate, Lebanon. This not only supported needs identified by the humanitarian response but was also part of Empowered Aid’s efforts to reduce sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) in aid distributions by identifying risk factors and building evidence on safer distribution mechanisms and monitoring.
