This article shows the impact of World Vision's advocacy and support for child protection structures whose aim is to work alongside the government to combat child labour, especially child labour in mines in the province of Haut-Katanga in the south of the Democratic Republic of Congo. A committee to combat child labour has just been set up after lengthy advocacy by World Vision.
