Destructive flooding across southern China

Southern China has been affected by continuous and heavy rain since late June. The heavy rainfall has caused flooding, mudslides and landslides. Of the 9 affected provinces/regions, Hunan and Guizhou are the worst; with unceasing heavy rainstorms since July 12. The maximum cumulative rainfall has reached over 600 mm in 5 days in some counties. Water levels of rivers in the areas continues to rise. World Vision is responding in the 4 worst hit provinces of Hunan, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Jiangxi.
