Syrian children among the thousands waiting in the cold to cross Serbia's border
Colder weather makes life even more difficult for thousands who wait to cross the border between Serbia and Croatia. Alissar, 10, a Syrian refugee is traveling with her relatives to try to reach her mother, who left for Germany three months ago. "I am very cold right now," she said, as she prepared to spend the night on the border.
World Vision is responding to the refugee crisis in the Western Balkans by providing basic hygiene and food packages as well as child protection services.
