Jamu, the Icon of Usapinonot village

Friday, June 27, 2014

Though we live in a remote area, that won't stop us from acheiving our dreams. With a high motivation to pay our children's education tuition and fulfill our daily needs, we work hard everyday. We look for promising business opportunity that will compete well in the marketplace. With this similar vision and mission, we formed a Farmer Group focusing on home industry and farming.

Prima Mandiri Group is the name of our group. It means that we have to be enthusiastic and independent. Our most significant products are jamu of temulawak -or Java turmeric-, jamu of noni fruit, and also white turmeric.

Wahana Visi Indonesia has assisted us with training, for example, how to make labels for products to increase its value and how to find proper markets for our products.

"I want to work hard for my children's education. They must get proper education and go to the university," said Yustina Safe, 41, chief of Prima Mandiri Group.

We offer our thanks to Wahana Visi Indonesia for mentoring us!
