Sinabung Volcano Update- 15 people killed, several others severely injured

Agus from Centre of Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG), said that Mount Sinabung erupts 4 times since 01 February, 2014. The volcanic ash also reached Kabanjahe district, 16.78 miles away from the location of the mountain erupts. The last eruption spread volcanic clouds and ash, killing 15 people. Until now, the police and the military are still searching for more victims and survivors of the eruption in the Sukameria village, Sinabung.

On 2nd February, 2014 (8:00 pm GMT +7.00) Sinabung unleashed hot ashes, radius of 500 meters. The volcano is now in Level IV status. Evacuees reached 30,152 people or 9403 household spread over 42 shelters. #prayforSinabung
