Children are at the heart of everything we do, their voices, dreams, and well-being drive our mission.  We are excited to share that amid the ever-growing humanitarian needs we reached 16.4 Million children in the East Africa Region.

In August 2025, World Vision, in close partnership with the Ministry of Health (MoH), delivered a three‑week Emergency Delivery Training programme, equipping 121 nurses, doctors, and midwives with the skills needed to respond to maternal and newborn emergencies.

In response to the growing mental health emergency, World Vision launched a programm focused on Social and Emotional Learning and Psychosocial Support. Funded by the European Union, the initiative has trained teachers and university volunteers to create emotionally safe spaces for children across 61 schools in the West Bank.

World Vision Ghana hosts the annual West Africa National Directors’ Retreat in Accra, bringing regional leaders together for strategic alignment, reflection, and planning to enhance impact for vulnerable children and communities.
