In the area of Disaster Risk Reduction, World Vision is looking for examples of global situations in which governments have worked with communities or civil society organizations in order to better achieve more systemic collaboration between governments, communities, and the CSOs that represent them in the design of national and local strategies.

This report explores a case study from Sri Lanka, in which World Vision Lanka worked with the Disaster Management Center of Sri Lanka in order to implement technology that delivers early warning messages. WVL team members met with the DMC officials, demonstrating the alert system, and continued to work with the agency in order to implement this technology.
