Churches are a pillar of influence in our communities. It is against this backdrop that World Vision's Child Health Now (CHN) campaign along with Sefikaneng ADP held a joint church service at Pulane Roman Catholic Church yesterday.

The aim of the service was to draw to the attention of community men and women the importance of using health facilities for deliveries, timely medical check-ups, as well as breast feeding.

The service was attended by members of Catholic, Lesotho Evangelical (LEC), ST. John, and Anglican Churches from communities surrounding Pulane community, Sefikaneng.

At the end of the service, community members voiced out their concerns, that they travel more than five kilometers to health facilities. For these and many other reasons they have lost loved ones.

They raised hands committing to ensure that children survive five years and beyond; that they shall embrace World Vision's Citizens' Voice in Action (CVA) model towards ensuring children survive beyond age five.
