The attached capacity statement gives an overview of World Vision's country office technical capacity to handle major grants, meet donor demands and deliver support to targeted communities. In particular the statement highlights the office's staff technical capacity, capacity in key sectors of interventions, financial, procurement and monitoring and evalutation capacity.

The capacity statement also highlights World Vision Sudan's innovative programming model that has been tested and tried in Blue Nile state, the Area Rehabilitation Programme (ARP). Most of World Vision funding are short-term, given its context and environment of operation, however this model allows World Vision an opportunity to commit to a specific geographical location for a defined period of time, usually a minimum of three years.
