In understanding the effectiveness, impact, sustainability, and scalability of World Vision’s Disaster Risk Reduction Activities in the Asia-Pacific Region, study recommendations include establishing a regional or central document archive for disaster risk reduction (DRR) projects to facilitate knowledge management and accessibility, developing standard operating procedures for tracking spreadsheets to ensure accurate project information, and creating lexicons for resilience, DRR, and Climate Change Adaptation activities. Moreover, leveraging long-term presence for targeted DRR interventions, strategically identifying funding opportunities based on a Theory of Change (ToC), and improving coordination with other World Vision teams are suggested. Furthermore, conducting in-depth analyses of successful DRR interventions, revising monitoring/evaluation strategies for DRR interventions, and performing selective impact evaluations to refine the CBDRR model are recommended.
