This joint letter marks the fifth anniversary of UNCRC General Comment No. 25, which reaffirmed in 2021 that children’s rights must be fully protected in the digital world .

World Vision has been working in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) since 1994, first providing relief to a war-torn country and then working on community development. For over three decades, we provided sustainable livelihoods to the disadvantaged and needy, improved quality of education, and empowered families and communities to seek access to their rights. Child protection and participation are at the core of our work on all levels. WV BiH engages with children and families empowering them to engage in decision-making processes, as active seekers of services they are entitled to. We collaborate with decision-makers and service providers to improve child welfare systems and advocate for long term system-level solution that have the best interest of the child in focus.

World Vision Armenia, active since 1988, delivers aid and development via six offices, supports 500,000 children, strengthens systems, drives policy, and builds resilient communities.

In 2025, World Vision Niger celebrated its 30th anniversary with a series of major events highlighting three decades of impact, partnerships, and hope. Present in Niger since 1995, the organisation has worked to sustainably improve the lives of children, families, and communities through programs in health, education, water, sanitation and hygiene, food security, and emergency response. The anniversary celebrations aimed to showcase achievements, strengthen relationships with partners, and inspire future generations to continue World Vision’s mission. Under the theme “Together for 30 Years, Together for the Future!”, the four-day program included a community celebration in Birni, an official dinner in Niamey, a virtual global partnership event, and activities with children at the REMAR orphanage.
