Voices unlocked: In Uganda, children are turning smartphones into storytelling tools, using mobile journalism to shine a light on their communities, challenges, and opportunities and inspire change. Since its launch in 2019, World Vision Uganda’s MOJO initiative has trained youth to script, film, edit, and produce impactful stories using smartphones. This empowers them to share their lived experiences and push for change in their communities.

In 2023, World Vision launched ENOUGH to end child hunger. In one year, it impacted 223M+ children through global advocacy and policy change.

Recognising the tool’s power to drive accountability and improve essential services, Chief Bunda Bunda hailed CVA as a catalyst for sustainable development in his chiefdom.

World Vision's social accountability approach, Citizen Voice and Action (CVA), equips communities to hold their own governments accountable for the promises they make.
