In Malawi's disaster-prone Machinga District, farmers like Funny Kachingwe are rebuilding their lives with World Vision's support. After losing crops to floods, Kachingwe received seeds, fertilizer and irrigation training through the Livelihood and Resilience Project. The project works with local authorities to help families grow food despite climate challenges, giving children a better future.

Regreening Africa, a major initiative funded by the European Union, with World Vision as one of the main implementing partners, has supported more than half a million households across the Sahel and East Africa to adopt simple, effective land restoration practices on over 350,000 hectares of land.
