In 2025, World Vision Niger celebrated its 30th anniversary with a series of major events highlighting three decades of impact, partnerships, and hope. Present in Niger since 1995, the organisation has worked to sustainably improve the lives of children, families, and communities through programs in health, education, water, sanitation and hygiene, food security, and emergency response. The anniversary celebrations aimed to showcase achievements, strengthen relationships with partners, and inspire future generations to continue World Vision’s mission. Under the theme “Together for 30 Years, Together for the Future!”, the four-day program included a community celebration in Birni, an official dinner in Niamey, a virtual global partnership event, and activities with children at the REMAR orphanage.

World Vision Ghana, through its THRIVE Project, invites qualified vendors and market actors to express interest in participating in the THRIVE Market Access Forum, a strategic engagement platform designed to strengthen market linkages, promote inclusive value chains, and expand access to sustainable markets.

As winter hardship intensifies in Ukraine, 100% of surveyed families report extreme conditions where a lack of heat, electricity, and education is pushing children to a breaking point. This briefing outlines the urgent need for flexible funding and support to protect families from a cumulative humanitarian crisis.

As the Ukraine Crisis Response enters its fifth year, the war continues to devastate millions of lives, particularly children. Over the past four years, World Vision Ukraine has reached more than 2.3 million people, including over 1 million children, providing critical support in education, mental health, protection, cash assistance, livelihoods, basic needs services and winterisation.

The funding crisis risks undoing decades of progress to end FGM. Global actors are urged to invest more and scale up efforts to stop this human rights violation.
