AUGUST 2014: SPOON FOUNDATION

"Growth Monitoring and Feeding Considerations in Children with Disabilities"

SPOON Foundation, a Portland-based Non-Governmental Organization founded in 2007, is working to improve nutrition and feeding practices for orphaned, foster and vulnerable children so they may grow and develop to their full potential. Recognizing the urgency of addressing malnutrition for children who have been impacted by disabilities and/or institutionalized care, SPOON is equipping governments and citizen organizations to protect these children from the debilitating - yet easily preventable - consequences of malnutrition and improper feeding.
