A reason to be merry, 10 years after the tsunami

After the tsunami hit, mothers had no work to do, but did not want to leave home to help support their families. HRH Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand and World Vision gave them the opportunity to do Batik. Twenty-five members came together to join the cooperative. "We add colors into the Batik fabrics from our heart. We wanted people to wear and see so that they will be happy. We can then erase the bad memory of what happened."
