Food & Nutrition
World Vision has reached 149, 334 people with food assistance, including general food distribution, and blanket supplementary feeding. The organization also screens for malnutrition, delivers outpatient treatment, and supplies nutrition supplements for pregnant and lactating women.
Food Security & Livelihoods
92, 017 people or 336 households have received either seeds, fishing nets, tools or training to help them secure a consistent supply of food or provide them with another livelihood.
Non-Food Items
World Vision has distributed kits that include plastic sheets, buckets, soap, blankets, kitchen- sets and mosquito nets to 100, 275 people.
Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
Boreholes with water points, surface water treatment and latrines were built for 59, 505 people. This was supported by the distribution of soap and the mobilisation of hygiene promoters disseminating hand-washing messages to at least 25,000 people.
Child Protection
Seven Child Friendly Spaces were opened in the Upper Nile and Warrap states. Here World Vision has also begun providing emergency education in addition to protection activities. 8554 children have been part of these programs and 3021 adults have received awareness training about child protection.
