World Vision Célèbre 30 Ans d'Impact au Niger
En 2025, World Vision célèbre ses 30 ans au Niger, marqués par des événements de grande envergure et la visite de la Leader Régionale Carla Denizard et de la Directrice régionale de la Communication Ange Gusenga Tembo. Depuis 1995, l’organisation œuvre à transformer durablement la vie des enfants, familles et communautés, à travers la santé, l’éducation, le WASH, la sécurité alimentaire et les secours d’urgence. La célébration a mis en valeur trois décennies d’impact, de partenariats et d’espoir, tout en renforçant les liens avec partenaires techniques, financiers et institutionnels et en inspirant les générations futures. Sur quatre jours, les activités ont inclus : célébration communautaire à Dosso (22 octobre), dîner officiel à Niamey (23 octobre), événement virtuel avec le partenariat global (24 octobre) et journée artistique à l’orphelinat REMAR (25 octobre). World Vision Calls For Urgent Protection of Children Following Deadly Mining Landslide In Eastern DR Congo
In this press release, World Vision expresses deep concern over a deadly landslide at the Rubaya artisanal mining site in Masisi, North Kivu, which has killed more than 200 people, including an estimated 70 children. Triggered by heavy rainfall, the tragedy highlights the extreme risks faced by communities already affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty.
