Manado Flash Floods update: Distribute School Kit and Hygiene Kit

The flash flood that hit Manado 15 January 2014 badly affected the live of children. World Vision Indonesia, a humanitarian organization who focuses on children prioritized its effort to answer the needs in education and health. More than 2000 packages provided for kids and families are in distribution process starting Wednesday, 5 February 2014 at Dendengan Dalam and several other areas in Manado.

Each school kit consists of  1 school bag, 10 books, 2 pens, 5 pencils, 1 eraser, 1 sharpener, 1 pencil case, to distribute to children at playgroups, elementary school, and junior high school. While the family package comes in Hygiene Kit form for 500 families, each contains 2 blankets, 2 soap bars, 2 toothbrushes, 2 toothpastes, and 2 boxes of sanitary napkin.
