Better hope with future potential

Sometimes, children leave school to do work that is neither suitable nor safe for them because they have no other option, as their families need the income.

However, World Vision’s Non-Formal Education (NFE) programme equips children and youth with basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills, plus life skills such as decision making, emotional management, communicating with others, and setting life goals.

Moreover, World Vision also supports the children and youth to attend vocational training and helps them either start their own business, or find more suitable jobs.

Depending on the child’s interests and requests by the local community, World Vision organized several vocational trainings on snack making, sewing, and motorcycle repair.
