iSTUDY Project Factsheet

World Vision's goal to increase the number of Lao children well prepared for school and achieving good learning outcomes comes to fruition with the iSTUDY project in Toomlan district, Saravane Province.

This 3-year project funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Japan aims at ensuring students read with comprehension and fluency in Lao language, with a special focus on disadvantaged and gender equity, through the following outcomes:

1. Motivated Learners: Increased readiness of children to enter Grade 1
2. Motivated Teachers: Improved Literacy Teaching Practices
3. Motivated Communities: Increased caregivers and community engagement for early learning and primary education
4. Motivated Partners: Increased quality of project governance
