Based on the youth situation analysis in Cambodia carried out by UNFPA and Ministry of Education Youth and Sport (MOEYS), 41% of the employed young people respondents, aged 15–24, had left school or finished formal education, and 59% of the total were not in Employment, Education, or Training (NEET).

The project aims at selecting and supporting the most vulnerable youth between 15 and 25 years old with vocational training, on-the-job training, and relevant life skills to increase access to decent and productive employment opportunities and ensure demand-driven skills and career decisions meet market demands.
