Faith Leader Transforming the life of Communities towards Healthy Relationships in Timor-Leste
“It was pleasure for me to play my role as faith leader and incorporate WV’s project model to improve the life of my community. I do commit to use the Celebrating families’ module as an optional topic and include it in the pre-marital courses that couple should enroll in before get married”. Said Dominikus, right after the Celebrating Family Training of Trainers (TOT). Since 2018, 33 couples have participated in the pre-married counsel including the Celebrating Family.

World Vision launches ENOUGH campaign in Kenya to address child hunger and malnutrition in the country. The landmark campaign is a timely initiative that will not only call for enough nutritious food in school and at home, but will also call for improved data collection, climate-smart agriculture, and policy reforms even as the Kenyan Government plans to establish a national policy on school meals by June 2023 as well as strengthen the efficiency and accountability mechanisms of the school meals initiative.

Impact of COVID-19 on the youth in Timor-Leste
World Vision is working with youth in Timor-Leste to prevent violence against women and children. Through IMPACT Clubs, youth gain skills to resolve conflict and promote healthy, equal relationships. IMPACT Club members share their experiences during COVID-19. The project is supported by the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP).
