Empowering children through education in the Asia-Pacific Region

Friday, May 15, 2015

In Asia today, girls and boys are attending school more than ever before, but students in disadvantaged communities still face barriers to accessing quality education. World Vision works in 24 countries in the Asia-Pacific Region. Our aim is for every child in the communities in which we work to be educated for life - to be able to read and write and have basic numeracy and life skills by the time they reach age 11.

Just going to school isn't enough, it's the lessons children leave with that matters.
