World Vision Asia Pacific - Who we are

World Vision has been present in the region for more than 60 years and has a deep understanding of the issues faced by the poorest and most vulnerable people in the 18 countries where we implement development projects.

Despite expanding economies and an accelerated pace of change across the Asia Pacific, more than 700 million people are living in Multi-Dimensional Poverty in the region. A surge in urbanization has seen the region’s slum population top more than 250 million people. Another generation of children are experiencing and at risk of a life of hardship and exploitation.

World Vision is a valued and trusted partner of governments, foundations, multi-laterals, corporations and other organisations striving to eradicate poverty in Asia Pacific. We are exploring new arenas to advance innovative development solutions and new relationships to better remodel, diversify and collaborate in shared-value partnerships. Our strategic partnerships are designed to achieve shared humanitarian and development priorities in the region.
