A five-day summer school in mountainous region of Georgia  enriched the lives of 15 children with special needs and their parents, through fun and safe programs of outdoor recreation, socialization and education.

Participants of camp received psychological counseling and learned  information on working with children from occupation therapist , neuropsychologist and physiological therapist.

The final aim of the summer school is to create Samtskhe-Javakheti parent club to empower parents of children with disabilities and special educational needs and help them advocate  for their children’s rights.

The camp was organized  in frames of  “Caucasus Sub-Regional Social Inclusion of Children with Disabilities” project, with support of charity organization MAC and Borjomi Parent Club.
