Goals and objectives

The “SKYE Net Skills and Knowledge for Youth Empowerment Network” project funded by the European Union aims to have successful entrepreneurial and career management practices as well as enhanced social business opportunities in place for the youth in Armenia, Georgia and Moldova. This will be accomplished by achieving two objectives: 1)Young change-makers in Armenia, Georgia and Moldova have enhanced opportunities and the capacity applied to transform their impactful ideas into sustainable social businesses, 2) Youth-driven social entrepreneurship, with a focus on green and digital economies, is accelerated through the development of social enterprise business models, cross-border networking, and an improved business environment.

Key actions

Key actions will include supporting youth social entrepreneur start-ups, with a focus on green and digital economies, and promoting information about and access to existing business support schemes. The project will establish a ‘SKYE Net’ transnational platform for sharing experience and knowledge among youth in Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova, with a focus on digital and green transformation, as well as on the engagement of relevant private and public actors, educational and training institutions, and representative youth organisations in those three countries.
